Dentons has advised mBank on its issuance of EUR 400 million resettable callable tier 2 subordinated bonds. White & Case reportedly advised joint lead managers Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Erste Group Bank, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, Morgan Stanley Europe, and UBS Europe.

According to Dentons, this is the first-ever publicly issued, euro-denominated tier 2 bond by a Polish bank and the largest EUR tier 2 transaction from the CEE region in the past five years. The bonds were placed with institutional investors across Europe.

The Dentons team included Warsaw-based Partners Jakub Celinski and Dariusz Stolarek and Senior Associates Paulina Galewska and Damian Bugaj as well as further lawyers in London.
