Walless has advised Vilnius City Municipality on securing European Commission approval for key amendments to the financing structure of the National Stadium project in Vilnius.
According to Walless, the Commission’s green light follows updates to the project scope introduced in 2023, which included higher construction costs and revised design elements. The approval enables construction to resume and marks a major milestone in delivering a national-level stadium to Vilnius.
In 2022, Walless advised Vilnius City Municipality on state aid clearance for the National Stadium project (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on April 12, 2022).
