Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii Advises Ameropa Group on Up to USD 1.35 Billion Refinancing

Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii, working alongside Hogan Lovells, has advised Ameropa Group on the up to USD 1.35 billion full refinancing of its existing credit facilities.

Ameropa is a Swiss-based agri-business group founded in 1948.

According to Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii, the syndicate of lenders includes Cooperatieve Rabobank, Raiffeisen Bank International, and UniCredit Bank. The loan is structured as two long-term revolving facilities and will be used to refinance existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.

In 2023, PNSA advised on the refinancing of Ameropa Group's main RCF in Romania (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on August 7, 2023).

The PNSA team included Partner Bogdan Stoica, Senior Associate Ioana Lazar, and Associate Crina Stan.
