Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen has successfully represented OMV Petrom in a case confirming the legality of permitting procedures for the Neptun Deep project in Romania.
According to NNDKP, the Neptun Deep project is Romania’s largest natural gas project and the first deepwater offshore energy development in the Romanian Black Sea. The court upheld the legality of both the environmental permit and the zoning plan documentation essential for the continuation of Neptun Deep’s onshore works, rejecting initiatives brought by Greenpeace aimed at blocking the project.
