Ellex has advised Norway-based Orkla Eiendom and Latvia-based Orkla Latvija on Orkla Eiendom 's acquisition of Latvian real estate companies Artilerijas 55 and Miera 22 from Orkla Latvija.
According to Ellex, as a result of the transaction, Orkla Eiendom gained control of real estate assets in Riga, including the well-known Staburadze territory at the intersection of Tallinas and Artilerijas Streets, as well as several properties on Miera Street, notably, the building housing Orkla’s local offices and the Chocolate Museum.
In 2023, Ellex advised Orkla on a biscuit and wafer production plant (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on September 29, 2023). In 2022, Ellex advised on Mantinga's acquisition of Fresh Food Production from Orkla (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on October 10, 2022).
