Stratulat Albulescu and Paksoy, working with Latham & Watkins, have advised Protective Industrial Products on the acquisition of Honeywell’s personal protective equipment business. EY Legal Romania and Simmons & Simmons reportedly advised the sellers.
Protective Industrial Products is a manufacturer and supplier of personal protective equipment and a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners.
According to Stratulat Albulescu, the transaction covers a wide array of PPE brands, including Fendall, Fibre-Metal, Howard Leight, KCL, Miller, Morning Pride, North, Oliver, and Salisbury, among others. With this transaction, Honeywell has completed its exit from the PPE sector, following its earlier divestment of the Lifestyle and Performance Footwear division in 2021.
