Asters has advised Shark Robotics on the supply of 40 AI-powered Colossus firefighting robots to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service under a French-Ukrainian grant program.

According to Asters, the robots are capable of eight functions including fire extinguishing, video inspection, evacuation, and smoke extraction and can operate for up to 12 consecutive hours and be remotely controlled from up to 1,000 meters. Funded by the French government through the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Affairs, and implemented under a France-Ukraine Grant Agreement, the project forms part of a wider effort to bolster the resilience of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure during wartime.

The Asters team included Partner Tetiana Tyshchenko, Counsel Viktor Melnyk, Senior Associate Oleksandr Hryhoriev, and Associate Iryna Kovalenko.
