Greenberg Traurig has represented Animex Foods and Agri Plus on the sale of part of their goose processing business to Cedrob.
According to Greenberg Traurig, the transaction is part of Animex Group’s plan to specialize production and focus on core business areas. Animex Foods is a Polish meat producer and part of the Morliny Foods Group, within Smithfield Foods and WH Group. It operates 10 meat processing plants in Poland and produces pork, poultry, and processed meat products under brands such as Krakus, Morliny, and Berlinki.
Cedrob is a Polish producer of poultry meat, chicks, and animal feed.
The Greenberg Traurig team included Deputy Managing Partner Michal Fereniec and Associate Wiktor Kulewicz.
