CMS has advised automotive manufacturing company Ford Otosan Romania on a EUR 435 million financing from a syndicate of banks, arranged by coordinating mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners Societe Generale and BRD Groupe Societe Generale.

Ford Otosan Romania is owned by Ford Otomotiv Sanayi, the Ford joint venture in which Ford and Koc Holding are majority shareholders.

Back in 2022, CMS advised on Ford's sale of its manufacturing plant in Craiova, Romania, to Ford Otosan (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on April 19, 2022).

The CMS team included Senior Counsel Alina Tihan and Associate Diana Dona.

CMS did not respond to our inquiry on the matter.

Editor's Note: After this article was published, Dentons announced it had advised BRD Groupe Societe Generale. The firm's team included Partner Simona Marin, Senior Associate Sandra Constantin, and Associate Alexandra Sofineti.
