RTPR and Allen Overy Shearman Sterling have advised OX2 on the sale of the 96-megawatt Ansthall onshore wind farm in Galati County, Romania, to Helleniq Renewables. CMS reportedly advised the buyers.

OX2 is a renewable energy developer with a portfolio spanning onshore and offshore wind, solar, energy storage, and hydrogen projects.

According to RTPR, the project is backed by a 12-year virtual power purchase agreement with Ahold Delhaize, covering more than half of the wind farm’s electricity output.

The RTPR team included Partner Mihai Ristici, Bogdan Cordos, and Roxana Ionescu, Counsel Vlad Stamatescu and Ianita Tui, Managing Associate Andrei Tosa, Associates George Capota and Serban Halmagean, and Junior Associates Bianca Cojocaru, David Mirea, Luka Perovic, Alexandra Grieb, and Irina Ratiu.

The A&O Shearman team included Warsaw-based Partner Jaroslaw Iwanicki, Counsel Kamil Jankielewicz, and Senior Associate Antoni Roszkowski.
