JDP has helped the 4PL Central Station Group establish a joint venture with an unidentified Polish company. Grant Thornton advised the Polish co-venturer on the deal.

4PL Central Station Group is a Swiss provider of fourth party logistics services in Europe. The company is described by JDP as having “extensive logistics expertise in the areas of chemicals, construction, and mechanical and railway engineering.”

According to JDP, “the joint venture’s aim is to develop and provide services in the area of planning and managing logistics processes for all participants in a delivery chain.” The firm reported that, “the services will be based on 4PL Group’s know-how of logistics and the Polish company’s IT solutions.”

JDP’s team consisted of Partner Marcin Chomiuk, Head of Tax Magdalena Zasiewska, Senior Associate Marcin Lewinski, and Associates Magdalena Bartnik and Krzysztof Bak.

Grant Thornton’s team included Head of M&A Karol Guzdziol, Attorney-at-Law Marek Pawlak, and Attorney-at-Law Trainee Jedrzej Kucharski.
