Former Baker McKenzie Partner Joanna Wojnarowska has joined DWF as Head of Real Estate in Poland, bringing with her former Baker McKenzie Senior Associates Weronika Roesler and Ewa Lewandowska.

DWF describes Wojnarowska as "a highly regarded real estate lawyer, with more than 20 years of professional experience in advising clients on the legal aspects of real estate and construction transactions and investments." According to the firm, "her professional experience includes representation of clients in matters related to real estate transactions – sales and acquisitions, construction matters as well as development and commercialization, in all real estate sectors – office, residential, logistics, and retail, throughout Poland.”

Wojnarowska is a graduate of the University in Warsaw. Prior to joining DWF Poland she spent almost 20 years with Baker McKenzie.

"I am proud to become part of a global legal business that is developing so dynamically,” commented Wojnarowska. “I love the innovative and energetic culture of DWF and believe that my experience and business approach will be a perfect contribution to the business. I am delighted that my clients will benefit from the large team and varied skills that we can now provide."

"We are delighted to welcome Joanna, a well-known name on the real estate market, to the dynamic and fast-expanding DWF team in Poland,” according to Managing Partner Michal Pawlowski. “Her vast expertise in the real estate and construction sector and unique experience in providing legal advice to clients in those sectors will significantly strengthen our offering in Poland."

"Our real estate team is growing and with its focus on investment and international markets Joanna's 20 plus years of experience coupled with her highly regarded reputation in this space will be a welcome addition to the real estate practice," said Partner Melanie Williams, Head of Real Estate and Hospitality in DWF London and Birmingham.
