Former Chairman of the British Polish Chamber of Commerce David Thomas and former Noerr Counsel Konrad Werner have joined Kochanski & Partners. Both join the firm as Partners, with Thomas to head International Finance and Werner to lead the Banking and Finance practice.

According to Kochanski & Partners, Thomas has over 35 years of experience in leading debt and equity projects, in both the public and private placement markets, in Poland, Europe, and the United States. Before joining Kochanski & Partners, Thomas spent four years as a Senior Partner with the Albion Rock business management consulting company. Prior to that, he spent two and a half years on the advisory board of the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange, eight years as the Managing Director and Head of Poland with the HSBC, two years as Bank Director, Head of Investment Banking and ECM Poland with ING Barings, four years as the Deputy Head of Poland Investment Banking with Schroders, and three years as Country Head with Coopers and Lybrand.

According to Kochanski & Partners, Werner has nearly 15 years of professional experience, having advised "on significant transactions in the banking sector." Werner has a magister’s degree in law from the University of Warsaw. Prior to joining Kochanski & Partners, he spent almost four years with Noerr and, earlier, almost 13 years with CMS.
