Dentons Advises Ursus Breweries on Virtual Power Purchase Agreement with Enery

Dentons has advised Ursus Breweries on its virtual power purchase agreement with Enery.

According to the firm, the agreement "is one of the first of this kind concluded in Romania, signaling a new era for corporate investments in renewable energy."

Ursus Breweries is part of the Asahi Europe Breweries Group and describes itself as the largest beer producer in Romania.

Enery is an Austrian renewable energy company founded in 2019 that operates in Central and Eastern Europe and focuses on the acquisition, development, construction, and operation of large-scale renewable energy plants.

The Dentons team was led by Partner Claudiu Munteanu-Jipescu and included Partner Simona Marin, Counsels Elena Vlasceanu, Maria Tomescu, and Doru Postelnicu, Senior Associate Angelica Pintilie, and Associates Cristina Staicu and Alin Serea.
