Harrisons has advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on a EUR 40 million loan extended to UniCredit Leasing Serbia under the Western Balkans Green Outcomes-Linked Debt Financing Framework.

According to Harrisons, the financing is intended to support eligible small and medium-sized enterprises in Serbia by providing capital to grow their businesses and invest in environmentally sustainable assets. The WB GOLD framework is a green finance instrument designed to incentivize the financial sector to increase its green lending to SMEs and mid-cap companies. It combines traditional lending with outcome-based incentives, aiming to stimulate investments in energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy systems, and other sustainable solutions.

The Harrisons team included Principal Mark Harrison, Consultant Ines Matijevic-Papulin, and Senior Associate Mina Zeljkovic.
