Former Constitutional Court judge and National Anti-Corruption Department Chief Prosecutor Daniel Morar has joined forces with the Albu Legal white-collar and corporate crime law firm, joining as a Senior Partner to form Albu Morar.

Bucharest-based Baiculescu & Asociatii has announced it is expanding its footprint through a partnership with Cluj-based Vlasin & Associates.

Former Musat & Asociatii Partner Liviu Togan has joined Dentons’ Bucharest office as Head of the newly launched White Collar practice. Also joining together with Togan is Senior Associate Cosmin Cretu.

The Hungarian Parliament passed a law at the beginning of October 2022 to set up a new anti-corruption authority called “Integrity Authority” as a part of a legislative package, that was aimed to reach a compromise with the EU regarding the withholding of funds.
