PeliPartners has advised the Mitiska REIM Group on its receipt of a EUR 123 million senior debt facility from the Erste Group. The Bucharest office of Wolf Theiss advised the Erste Group.
Mitiska REIM is a Belgian investor in retail parks and convenience centers. The company operates 24 retail parks in Romania with a gross leasable area of 132,000 square meters. According to it, “the proceeds of the financing will be used to fund the completion of a new retail park under construction in Baia Mare, extension of development projects for existing retail parks in Tulcea, Slatina, and Medias, and provide liquidity to the shareholders of the SPVs after having funded the growth of the portfolio.”
