Sayenko Kharenko has advised Deutsche Bank on a EUR 23.6 million term loan facility extended to Northern Iron Ore Enrichment Works.
Northern Iron Ore Enrichment Works is a Ukrainian mining and processing enterprise and part of the Metinvest Group.
According to Sayenko Kharenko, the facility is backed by a buyer credit guarantee issued by Finnvera, Finland’s official export credit agency. The loan proceeds will be used for the construction and operation of a beneficiation waste thickening facility in Ukraine, a key project aimed at reducing energy consumption, conserving fresh water, and lowering operational costs, while enhancing the environmental sustainability of the mining operation.
The Sayenko Kharenko team included Partner Anton Korobeynikov, Senior Associate Vladyslava Mitsai, and Trainee Polina Savinska.
