Former Orrick Partner Konstantin Kroll has joined Dentons’ Moscow office as a partner in the Corporate and M&A practice.

Kroll, who is dual-qualified in Russia and England and Wales, has over two decades of experience advising corporate clients and financial institutions on complex cross-border transactions in Russia and the broader Commonwealth of Independent States. He graduated from the Moscow State University in 1998 and obtained an LLM from the University of Manchester in 2001.

Kroll joined Orrick in 2014, spending the first four years in the firm's Moscow office, then, when the firm closed that office at the end of 2017, as Head of the Russia & CIS Desk in London. Before that he spent a little over three years as a partner with Jones Day in Moscow, and 14 years with Allen & Overy, the last three as partner.

Dentons Russia Managing Partner Alexei Zakharko commented: “Konstantin is recognized as one of the top M&A lawyers in Russia and CIS, so we are delighted to welcome a lawyer of his caliber to our team.”

“I am delighted to join Dentons, which has one of the best and broadest networks in the CIS region with a team of over 240 lawyers," Kroll said. "With two offices in Russia, and offices in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Georgia, Dentons is clearly among the few global firms that are fully committed to the region. I very much look forward to helping the firm further develop its M&A practice and reinforce its market leadership position.”
