Leroy si Asociatii has advised the French group Lactalis on its successful acquisition of Romania's Covalact S.A. dairy producer from the SigmaBleyzer private equity firm. Schoenherr advised the sellers on the deal.
Leroy si Asociatii also advised Lactalis and Schoenherr also advised the sellers on Lactalis's acquisition of Albalact in 2016, taking part in the first significant voluntary takeover bid ever carried out on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on February 4, 2016), and Leroy si Asociatii  subsequently provided legal counsel to the French group in its squeeze out of the minority shareholders of Albalact (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on April 25, 2017).
