Noerr Attorney-at-Law Luiza Bedros and Counsel Sebastian Popescu have been appointed as Associated Partners in the firm's Bucharest office. Cristina Stamboli, Oana Piticas, and Alexandru Dan were all elevated to Counsel during the same promotion round.

Bedros specializes in M&A, competition, and regulatory matters, with a focus on business restructurings and healthcare/pharma. She joined Noerr right after law school, in 2006, with an LLM degree from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, and has been with the firm for the past 17 years.

Popescu, who specializes in finance and tax, has also spent more than 15 years with Noerr. He joined the firm back in 2008, as a Financial Adviser, was promoted to Senior Financial Advisor in 2015, and then to Counsel in 2019. Before joining Noerr, he spent over two years as a Financial Analyst with the Rompetrol group.

“With these promotions, we are once again paving the way into the partnership for advisory personalities from various specializations – and keeping on course to enhance our leading position as a top independent European law firm,” Noerr Co-Managing Partner Torsten Fett commented.
