Wolf Theiss Advises Raiffeisen Bank on RON 369 Million Note Issuance in Romania

Wolf Theiss has advised Raiffeisen Bank in Romania on its RON 369 million issuance of 8.817% non-preferred senior eligible sustainability notes due 2027. 

Raiffeisen Bank International (Austria) and Raiffeisen Bank (Romania) were the joint lead managers responsible for placing the notes.

According to Wolf Theiss, “On December 7, 2022, Raiffeisen Bank successfully issued notes addressed to institutional investors, with a tenor of five years and a fixed coupon of 8.817% per annum. This operation is in conjunction with the issue of five other prior issues of notes by Raiffeisen Bank during 2021 and 2022, based on its EUR 1.5 billion Euro Medium Term Notes program.” 

In 2022, Wolf Theiss advised Raiffeisen Bank Romania on its RON 500.85 million issuance of senior non-preferred sustainability notes (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on August 30, 2022).
