BPV Grigorescu Stefanica has advised Sarmis Capital-backed Smart ID Dynamics on the acquisition of the Brasov-based integrated software solutions provider Spectrum. LC Legal Proof advised Spectrum on the deal.

The transaction was completed in May 2022.

According to BPV Grigorescu Stefanica, “the company’s most popular product is the Spectrum enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, a patented and easily adaptable solution that addresses critical corporate needs such as inventory management, accounting, and coordination between customers, sales, and support teams.”

Sarmis Capital is an independent private equity fund established in 2019 and dedicated to investments in Central and Eastern Europe. According to BPV Grigorescu Stefanica, “it is the largest fund of its kind raised in Romania by a local team and is dedicated with priority to Romanian companies, but also to those in the region."

Earlier this year, BPV Grigorescu Stefanica also advised on Sarmis Capital’s investment into Smart ID Dynamics (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on February 7, 2022).
