DLA Piper has advised the PNE Group on the sale of a solar project in Romania to Econergy. Vlasceanu, Nyerges & Partners advised the buyer.
According to DLA Piper, "the project has a nominal capacity of 81 megawatts, is located in the Oradea region, and was developed to construction maturity and then sold to Econergy."
The PNE Group is a German-headquartered company that develops and operates wind farms on land and at sea.
Econergy is a UK-based company operating a series of Romanian energy projects.
The DLA Piper team was led by Counsel Paula Corban-Pelin and included Counsel Florin Tineghe and Junior Associates Teodor Sabau and Ioana Anton.
The VNP team was led by Partner Loredana Vlasceanu and included Partner Raluca Spanu and Senior Associate Mihaela Farin.
