The Bucharest office of CEE Attorneys has advised pharmaceutical company USP on its entrance into the Romanian market.

CEE Attorneys reports that it supported the company "in all aspects related to company registration, providing assistance in dealing with local banks, regulatory issues of the company’s specific activity in Romania (pharmaceutical practice, environmental protection, and waste recovery), [and] share capital increase."

“I think that USP's entry into the Romanian market is a good indicator that the local pharmaceutical industry is still attractive for large and medium-sized players in the field," said CEE Attorneys Managing Partner Radu Boanta, who coordinated the firm's team on the matter.. "It was an extremely interesting project and we are satisfied that we were part of this initiative, whose main challenge was to adapt its business model to the requirements and specifics of the legal regulatory framework in Romania."

In addition to Boanta, the CEE Attorneys' team included Partner Nicolae Ursu and Associates Denis Jignea and Adriana Ion.
