Stratulat Albulescu and Somlea & Asociatii Advise on Sale of Majority Stake in PitechPlus to Webhelp

Stratulat Albulescu and Somlea & Asociatii have advised PitechPlus on the sale of the majority stake held by its founder, Bogdan Herea-Buzatu, to Webhelp Romania. Wolf Theiss and McDermott Will & Emery AARPI advised Webhelp on the acquisition.

Founded in 2006, PitechPlus is a consulting group that offers integrated software solutions and digital transformation for 36 customers across eight countries. In addition, the company offers application management services and intelligent automation for its clients.

According to Stratulat Albulescu,  “with a track record of continuous growth, PitechPlus is aiming to achieve a turnover of EUR 11 million in 2019 at 20% growth year-over-year, keeping the same profitability as per 2018.”

Webhelp is a technical consultancy, customer experience, and business process outsourcing company, headquartered in Paris. It is owned by global investment company KKR, alongside its founders and management team. The company is currently in the final stages of a transaction with Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, as a new investment partner, stepping in for KKR.
