Kochanski & Partners has advised PIB Group Poland on its acquisition of RCU Ubezpieczenia and Ramius. Andersen Tax & Legal Srokosz i Wspolnicy reportedly advised the sellers.
According to Kochanski & Partners, the transaction furthers PIB’s strategy to consolidate the Polish insurance intermediation market. Since entering Poland in 2020, PIB Group has built a diverse portfolio of insurance and reinsurance brokers, MGAs, and multi-agency operations. The deal brings RCU’s intermediary network and Ramius’s specialist business model into the PIB Group fold.
