Wiercinski, Kwiecinski, Baehr has advised the Neo Energy Group on the sale of 100% of its shares in Eviva Lebork to PAK-Polska Czysta Energia, of the Polsat Group. Greenberg Traurig reportedly advised the Polsat Group.

According to WKB, “this is the next transaction between the two entities, which will strengthen the Polsat Group’s position in the RES market with another investment in a wind farm, this time consisting of 23 wind turbines with a total capacity of 50.6 megawatts in Potegowo.”

The Neo Energy Group is an investment platform focused on the development of RES projects and companies. Its portfolio includes photovoltaic projects and wind projects, among others.

The ZE PAK Group is a privately owned, non-state-controlled energy group in Poland, operating in the fields of lignite mining, power generation from conventional and renewable sources, and energy trading.

In June 2022, WKB and Greenberg Traurig also advised on ZE PAK’s acquisition of Great Wind from Neo Energy (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on June 24, 2022).

WKB’s team included Senior Partner Agnieszka Wiercinska-Kruzewska, Partner Marta Midloch, Managing Associate Malgorzata Studniarek, and Lawyer Aneta Citko.
