APLaw law firm founder Artur Piechocki has been elected President of the Arbitration Court for Internet Domains at the Polish Chamber for Information Technologies and Telecommunications.
According to APLaw, “the Arbitration Court for Internet Domains is very special due to the list of top arbitrators, the high quality, the speed of the arbitration process, as well as the impact on the Polish market of the Internet domain names. Despite the existence of courts of this kind in many countries, this court is recognized and appreciated next to [the] WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Centre, and [the] EURID for “.eu” domains. Until now the Arbitration Court for Internet Domains was led by Ireneusz Matusiak, who acts as a judge at the IP Court in Warsaw.”
Before starting APLaw, Piechocki spent a year with Kochanski Zieba & Partners as Of Counsel preceded by almost 13 years as a Senior Lawyer with NASK.
