Anna Grykin, former Head of Legal at InterRisk, has returned to private practice by setting up Grykin Law Firm in Poland.

Grykin started her legal career with Compensa Vienna Insurance Group to then join ING Bank. In 2002, she moved to Norde a TU, where she spent over four years. She then worked as a Lawyer with the Dubinski Jelenski Masiarz law firm, before becoming the Head of Legal and Compliance at MetLife TU. In 2012 she was hired in the same role by LINK4 and subsequently joined PZU as Head of Legal in 2016. She then briefly returned to private practice as Counsel, Co-Head of Insurance Practice at DLA Piper before joining InterRisk in 2018.

According to Grykin, her new firm currently cooperates with 3 lawyers and she intends "to build a strong team focusing on insurance law and compliance," while also focusing on developing other areas of law: labor, retail, consumer, and civil law.

"Establishing my law firm is the next step in my successful career," commented Grykin. "After 20 years spent in companies, I am very excited to launch my own business and have full influence on every decision. As the owner, I will invite and hire fantastic lawyers, and together we will present [a] very new and engaged medium law firm on the market. I am sure Grykin Law Firm is able to deliver strong professional advice together with a unique customer approach."
