Allen & Overy has advised Grupa Zywiec on the sale of its brewery in Braniewo, Poland, and its Kuflowe, Braniewo, and Jasne ze Pelne beer brands to Van Pur. Stachowicz Ptak and Traple Konarski Podrecki & Partners advised the buyer on the deal.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Grupa Zywiec is a Polish producer of alcoholic beverages, which operates five breweries in Cieszyn, Elblag, Lezajsk, Warka, and Zywiec.

Van Pur is a Warsaw-based beer manufacturer, which includes the Van Pur, Lomza, Strzelec, BROK, Slaskie, and Karpackie brands, among others.

Allen & Overy’s team included Senior Associate Marcin Czaprowski and Associate Jan Spierzak.
