Act BSWW has advised investment funds managed by Pekao TFI S.A on the PLN 2.5 billion bonds issue program of Miejskie Przedsirbiorstwo Oczyszczania w m. st. Warszawie sp. z o.o., aimed at financing the modernization and extension of a municipal waste incineration plant and the construction of a waste segregation plant in Warsaw. The program was developed in cooperation with Bank Pekao S.A. and Pekao Investment Banking S.A., both of which were advised by Hogan Lovells.

According to Act BSWW, “the strategically important project, involving the renovation and extension of the incineration plant, as well as the construction of a waste segregation plant, will see the emergence of two new technological lines for municipal waste combustion within the next three years. [Once the work is completed, the plant] is going to be Poland’s biggest facility of this sort.”

Act BSWW’s team included Managing Partner Piotr Smoluch and Partners Sebastian Sury and Matylda Juzala.

Hogan Lovells's team included Partner Rafal Grochowski and Senior Associate Anna Kuczewska.
