CMS Partner Anna Cudna-Wagner has become the new head of the firm’s Polish Dispute Resolution practice, taking over from Partner Malgorzata Surdek-Janicka who is leaving the firm.

According to CMS, “effective May 1, 2022, she will lead the team in close cooperation with CMS partner Arkadiusz Korzeniewski.”

“I entrust Anna, with full confidence, with the management of this ambitious team”, commented CMS Poland Managing Partner Andrzej Posniak. “Anna's successful experience and excellent client relationships provide a solid foundation for the further dynamic development of the practice.”

“There are many new challenges and opportunities ahead of us,” added Cudna-Wagner. “Together with Arkadiusz we will strengthen CMS’s position in dispute resolution, as well as develop the team in the changing market environment.”

“I am very grateful to the entire team for many years of excellent cooperation,” said Surdek-Janicka. ”It has been an honor and a source of constant satisfaction to be able to jointly develop the Dispute Resolution practice with such extremely talented lawyers.”

Cudna-Wagner became a partner in CMS’ Poland office in 2017 (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on September 7, 2017).
