Cobalt, working alongside Holland & Knight, has advised Redwire Corporation on its USD 925 million acquisition of Edge Autonomy Intermediate Holdings LLC and its subsidiaries. Richards, Layton & Finger reportedly advised the special committee of the Board of Directors of Redwire. Kirkland & Ellis reportedly advised Edge Autonomy.

According to Cobalt, the transaction significantly expands Redwire’s presence in the defense technology sector, establishing it as a global disruptor in multi-domain autonomous solutions by integrating combat-proven uncrewed airborne platforms into its existing space-focused portfolio.

The Cobalt team included Partner Guntars Zile, Specialist Counsels Kristine Patmalniece and Sergejs Rudans, Senior Associates Martins Tarlaps, Inga Tenisa, and Agnese Gerharde, and Associates Alise Artamonova and Vadims Zvicevics.
