Gavrila & Asociatii Lawyer Ion Alexandru has been promoted to Partner position within the firm.
According to Gavrila & Asociatii, Alexandru’s expertise is dispute resolution, primarily focusing on “commercial, competition, public procurement, environment, tax, trademarks and designs, insolvency, and corporate” legal matters.
Alexandru first joined the firm when it was called Tanasescu, Gavrila & Asociatii, in 2016, and stayed on until 2021. He has since re-joined the firm, now called Gavrila & Asociatii, in August 2022. Before that, he spent over a year as an Associate with Chiuariu & Associates and, earlier, almost two years as an Associate with Peli Filip. Since 2014, he is also the Head of Legal Affairs at Amnesty International in Bucharest.
