Norton Rose Fulbright has advised a club of banks including Bank Pekao, Erste Group Bank, ING Bank Slaski, PKO Bank Polski, and Santander Bank Polska on a PLN 864 million financing for R.Power Group's solar power plant portfolio. Deloitte Legal reportedly advised R.Power on the deal.

The R.Power Group is active in various European countries including Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Romania. In Poland, it is currently developing a portfolio of photovoltaic farms with a capacity of over 6 gigawatts.

According to NRF, “the transaction is the largest PV power plant financing in Poland so far and the proceeds will be used to build solar power plants with a total capacity of 299 megawatts, which succeeded in last year’s Polish renewables support auctions.”

Last year, Norton Rose Fulbright and Deloitte Legal have advised on R. Power's PLN 242 million financing for the construction of seven photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of 91 megawatts (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on August 11, 2021).

NRF’s team included Partner Grzegorz Dyczkowski, Counsel Marta Kawecka, Associates Karolina Majcher and Oskar Sula, and Lawyer Michal Rutkowski.
