Schoenherr has advised CRH on its acquisition of the stone materials production business of Croatia’s Kufner Group. Madirazza & Partners advised Kufner Group.
CRH is an NYSE-listed Fortune 500 building materials company. It is the largest building materials producer in both the United States and Europe, reporting USD 6.9 billion in EBITDA on USD 35.6 billion in revenue in 2024.
According to Schoenherr, founded by the Kufner family, the Zagreb-based Kufner Group employs over 320 people and reported EUR 13 million in EBITDA on EUR 44 million in revenue in 2024. The transaction includes four high-capacity quarries located in eastern and central Croatia, with a combined annual production capacity exceeding 3.8 million tons.
