Woloszanski & Partners, Ellisons Solicitors, and Eversheds Sutherland Advise on ZignSec's Acquisition of Web Shield Group

Alliott Global Alliance members Woloszanski & Partners and Ellisons Solicitors have advised Web Shield on the sale of its shares in the Web Shield Group to Swedish ZignSec AB. Eversheds Sutherland advised the buyer.

According to Alliott, ZignSec AB will acquire 100% of the shares of Web Shield Ltd, including the subsidiaries Web Shield Services GmbH, Web Shield Services Polska sp. z o.o and 50% of Web Shield Legal Library sp. z o.o. for EUR 28 million. The acquisition agreement was signed on June 6, 2021. 

Woloszanski & Partners Managing Partner Michal Woloszanski led and coordinated the project, including coordinating the firms advising Web Shield on English, German, and Swedish matters.

The Eversheds team was led by Sweden-based Partner Jens Andre and Senior Associate Victor Sundh and included Poland-based Partner and Co-Head of M&A Ewa Szlachetka, Of Counsel Grzegorz Kott, Counsel Adam Nierzwicki, Associates Agnieszka Szymczuk-Malecka and Martyna Galdecka, and Lawyers Magdalena Zglobica and Waldemar Orynski, as well as UK-based Partner Robin Johnson and Associate Laura Allsop and Germany-based Partner Maximilian Findeisen.
